Plea for international help and intervention of the child system in Denmark.

The case involved a Latvian woman who had fled with her two children from South Africa due to violence. During a transit in Denmark, she is arrested by the Danish police and remanded in custody in Vestre Fængsel. Here she has been remanded in custody for more than 1.5 years without being able to obtain a fair trial. Latvia repeatedly asks Denmark to extradite their citizens.

The Eastern High Court sentenced her to travel to South Africa, where she could risk 15 years in prison and be killed. The day before the departure was to take place, Latvia issued an arrest warrant for her so that she could be brought to Latvia and put before a judge for the crime that Latvia used in the arrest warrant.

The protests of civil society meant that we saved a woman's life and the right of two children to have their mother.

Today, she is with her family again, and states herself that if the international civil society had not supported her, she would not be alive today.

The case concerns an unconventional placement of a Romanian child using incorrect information, an ordered psychiatric diagnosis that has been repeatedly denied by a chief physician from the Capital Region of Denmark Psychiatry, and the Romanian state that has demanded the extradition of their nationals to Romania since 2015. .

In this article, the chairman of Stop Violence against Children has stated in relation to the Danish children's area, and the lack of legal certainty that exists for children and their families in Denmark in connection with the unconventional case from Hillerød Municipality.

Letter of thanks of 24 July 2020 to the Polish mayor Mr. Piotr Krzystek.

Stop Violence against Children has together with citizens in Denmark sent Mayor Mr. Piotr Krzystek from the Polish municipality of Szczecin a letter of thanks for the professional and humane handling of a new Danish mother.

And

The case was covered in Sjællandske Medier, which described how the expectant mother had to travel to Poland to get the opportunity to be a mother to her own child. Slagelse Municipality, from which the mother moved, had already planned a forced adoption of the child on the basis of untrue information in the case files.
